Hope in Harmony’s Choral Ensemble features talented, diverse singers who are passionate about spreading hope through music. From classical to contemporary, our auditioned group performs an eclectic repertoire that inspires and uplifts audiences of all ages.
What to expect at auditions:
Show your range by singing from your lowest note to your highest using solfege or a neutral syllable.
Sing the National Anthem a cappella in your preferred key/range.
Sing a song of your choice, memorized and performed to demonstrate not only vocal ability, but also embody the emotions and intentions of the piece. (2 minutes max)
What to expect at callbacks:
Vocal warmup and voice placement.
Ensemble sight singing.
Ensemble performance with expression.
What to expect at rehearsals:
Rehearsals are on Tuesday evenings from 6-9 PM. Rehearsals and Concerts rotate between Calvert, Charles and St. Mary’s counties.
