Fundraiser for Marge Sargent

Saturday June 21st Join us at our outdoor studio for a special plate making class to benefit our friend Marge Sargent ❤️ All proceeds will go directly to Marge as she is currently unable to work in her usual role as a Registered Nurse for Hospice. Marge was recently diagnoised with a rare form of leukemia. Some of you may recognize her name from comments during our auctions and FB posts. We had done a fundraiser a few years ago for her son Jimmy Sargent when he was battleing Anaplastic Astrocytoma a form of brain cancer. Sadly Jimmy passed. Marge set up a memorial fund and has continuously worked hard to raise funds to help other family’s who had loved ones affected by the cancer that took her son. She is in a place now where she needs help and we are asking that you step up.
We had get success last fall when we hosted this same fundraiser for another frined’s Son, you can scroll back on this page to see the pictures.
Cost for the class is $50.00 per plate, paid in advance so we can have the appropriate amount of supplies ready.
Session 1 will be from 9am-11am
Session 2 will be from 12-2pm
Each session can have 12 participants. You may bring any textures with you to use on your plate or you can use one of ours. We have a huge collection of rolling pins and stamps!
You will choose your shape (rectangle or oval) and then your edge (scalloped, straight, or wave). Before you leave we will have you pick the colored glaze you would like and your finished piece will be ready for pick up in about two weeks 🥰
This is a beginner level class and appropriate for any age however parents must stay with children and take them with them when class is over 🤣
Our goal is to raise as much money as we can for or friend, and we hope to provide you with an enjoyable experience and opportunity to try something new locally. Please feel free to share this post.
