There is a bounty of edible plants and fungi found in the wild. Learn about the first steps to become a forager with safety instructions, best practices when foraging, and examples of common wild edibles that grow in Hancock County. Hike the trails to look for examples of what to search for. As a safety precaution, wild edibles found on the hike will not be eaten.
