The CGN programme is the only CKC event which is open to all dogs who are at least a year old.
Dogs are asked to perform a series of exercises that simulate experiences they may have while out in public such as meeting other dogs, walking through a group of strangers or going to the groomers. Dogs need to know some basic obedience commands to be successful. Dogs who the evaluator determines to be " ready" receive a certificate from the CKC declaring them to be a Canine Good Neighbour.
Dog's Walks & More offers CGN prep classes but won't be holding anymore prior to this test.
