Lymphatics 101

This is an introductory health class to learn about the lymphatic system and lymphatic drainage. The class is taught by Dr. Courtney, a doctor of physical therapy and a certified lymphedema therapist. It is intended for individuals with swelling, individuals with lymphedema, family and friends of those with lymphedema, or the general public to raise awareness and help boost your immune system. Information discussed includes function of the lymphatic system, lymphatic anatomy, lymphedema, lymphatic drainage, and demonstration of how to perform a simple lymphatic drainage protocol on yourself at home. An outline will be provided at the class. The class itself will run about 45 minutes followed by a Q&A session. The class is $10 to attend and you can register through the link below.
