A Little Lake Cemetery Walking Tour
Join local historian Karen Carter-Edwards in Little Lake Cemetery to meet some of the "movers and shakers" (both men and women) who played a significant role in the history of Peterborough throughout the 19th and 20th centuries. The tour will feature politicians, businessmen, soldiers, writers and people from other professions who helped to form our community into the place we live and work today.
This is a walking tour in Little Lake Cemetery that covers a large portion of the cemetery grounds. It stays on the main roadways whenever possible, but covers some uneven and hilly ground and may not be accessible to everyone. Wear comfortable shoes and dress appropriately for the weather, as the tour will run rain or shine. If you have any questions about the accessibility of this tour, please email us at YWRtaW4gfCB0cmVudHZhbGxleWFyY2hpdmVzICEgY29t or call us at 705-745-4404.
The tour begins in front of the chapel in Little Lake Cemetery. Please arrive at the meeting spot 5-10 minutes before the start of the tour with either a printout or screenshot of your ticket to show the tour guide.
