Ignite your teaching with the power of play and culture! Ngā Taonga Tākaro is a one-day, hands-on workshop for Years 1–13 teachers, led by Māori games expert Harko Brown.

Discover the whakapapa, tikanga, and meaning behind traditional Māori games, and explore how they can deepen student engagement, support wellbeing, and connect learning to te ao Māori.

You’ll leave with practical activities, renewed confidence in mātauranga Māori, and ideas to enrich your planning and programmes.
