Botanicals in Micron Pen with Laura Allen

Come draw botanicals in pen and ink! In this 4-hour morning workshop, we’ll explore techniques using fine-line inking pens while honing our skill at capturing detail. Pens such as Pigma Micron lend themselves to endless nuance of line and shading, and adding them to your toolbox can be a real boost to your overall art practice. Plus, it’s fun! We’ll spend some time covering hatching, stippling, and shading. as well as good foundational drawing techniques. Then we’ll choose a single interesting botanical specimen and work on a finished drawing.
