Multi-Week Adult Class- Finding Your Voice Through Play Writing

This class introduces the craft of plot and dialogue writing for the theatre. Through weekly in-class writing exercises, students will explore scene structure, action, events, voice, and dialogue. Each student will complete a rough draft of a script by the completion of the last class, defining characters, dialogue, action, and scenes. An emphasis will be placed on process, risk-taking, and finding one’s own voice and vision for their completed script.
