1 day (3 hours) Kiln Fusing Glass Camp for Kids.
Wednesday, July 30,
1pm-4pm.
Our popular Summer Glass Camps are back! In this one day (3-hour) class, campers will explore the techniques of kiln fusing with our experienced instructors. The camp will cover the basics of designing, cutting, assembling, and preparing glass for the fusing process. Additionally, students will be introduced to the scientific concepts that have shaped modern glass making and the history of glass art and craft in America. Each camper will create 2-3 pieces including sun catchers, necklace pendants, and slumped bowls. If a camper takes more than one session, other projects can be substituted for the ones listed above.
Open to ages 8-18. No previous experience necessary. Classes may be cancelled due to low enrollment. See our full Cancellation Policy on our website.
Each camp session includes all materials, snacks, and beverages. Lunch not included.
