Comic Creation Club (Mockingbird Branch)

This summer your Abilene Public Library is celebrating the art and works of Matt Phelan, who was also this year’s honoree at the Children’s Art + Literacy Festival. If you’re a tween or teen who loves art, we invite you to be a part of our summer Comic Creation Club. Phelan not only wrote picture books for kids, but some graphic novels too. Come out where we’ll provide you with art supplies to see what stories you can create.
