ABOUT THE EVENT:
The Harmony School Golf Outing started in 1980 in order to expose more business people in Bloomington to Harmony School and to support golf in the community. The Golf Outing is in honor of Miles Kanne and Gene Flander. Miles Kanne was Vice President of Cook Medical from 1964 to 1992 and served on the Harmony School Advisory Board for 30 years. Gene Flander was president of the Harmony School Advisory Board until his passing in September, 1987. All proceeds from the event support the Miles Kanne Scholarship Fund for Harmony students.
The 2024 Golf Outing raised over $55,000 for the Miles Kanne Scholarship Fund, bringing the total funds raised to nearly $855,000 in the last 43 years!
