Join us on Sundays for our Summer Sermon Series: "Anchored in Christ". We have services at the following times:
π9:30 a.m. - Sanctuary
π10:30 a.m. - Celebration Center
Following God feels easy when everything makes sense and life is going smoothly. But what do we do when life is hard? The book of Hebrews was written to a group of Christians who were struggling. They were seriously considering abandoning what they had been taught and going back to old practices. They were feeling weary and questioning if their faith in Jesus was "worth it." Can you relate?
The author of Hebrews has an encouraging message. Yes, Jesus is absolutely worth it! The faith of the Old Testament is not mistaken, rather it's God's way of pointing us to Jesus. He surpasses everything that has come before and is the fulfillment of all that was prophesied. All that Christ did and suffered, he did and suffered for us.
Yes, there is struggle, but when we fix our eyes on Jesus we wonβt drift. This summer, weβll drop our anchors and unpack truths that will hold us steady when our lives and world feel uncertain. We can rest in the saving work of Christ and truly know what it is to have hope as an anchor for our souls.
