Boats, Birds and Barns: The Riverview Morning Meander!

Experience Riverview Farmstead like never before. First paddle the DuPage River upstream and float back catching the sounds and sights of the river wildlife as naturalists point out birds of interest. Then we will venture on land to explore Riverview Farmstead’s limestone house and timber frame barn for a quick tour of this historic site. End the adventure around a campfire, swapping stories while roasting hot dogs and s'mores!
Fee: $20 per person.
Age: Ages 16 and older. Participants younger than 18 must be accompanied by a registered adult.

Wear shoes and clothes that can get wet, and don’t forget your sunscreen, sunglasses and a water bottle. Binoculars are encouraged. All kayak equipment is provided, including personal flotation devices. Previous kayaking experience is required as this is a recreational program and not an instructional paddling program.
The event takes place outdoors on uneven natural terrain. Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service to participate in this program should submit a request online ( https://www.reconnectwithnature.org/americans-with-disabilities-act-information/request-accommodation-inclusion-service/) no later than 48 hours before the program.
