Join Angela Beaver for Restore + Nidra, an experience that is intended to bring you home to the true nectar of {{rest}}.
This experience will offer an opportunity to embrace the subtle side of yoga. Class will consist of mostly lying down postures using props. We will find some gentle movement that eases into savory restorative postures. Get comfy with the support of props while being piloted into deep relaxation. We will end with a Yoga Nidra.
Yoga Nidra is often referred to as “dynamic sleep” however, even though we have a sense of falling asleep and the body becoming very relaxed, the mind remains awake and listening. Evidence-based research has shown that Yoga Nidra can have a positive impact on treating anxiety, hypertension and depression.
