Adventures in Alcohol Ink - 301 (Part 2)

Prerequisite: Adventures in Alcohol Ink – 101 & 201

Building on the skills & techniques learned in the 101 & 201 class, we’ll continue stretching the boundaries in creating with Alcohol Inks in this 4 week class! We’ll bring in the mediums (fluid & Matte gel medium, modeling paste, foils, and whatever else I can find!)

Week #1 – Modeling Paste, Heavy Gel: We will experiment with how we can use these mediums to create 3D elements. Then we’ll experiment how lighter mediums react with Alcohol Ink.

Week #2 – Modeling Paste, Heavy Gel: Using the 3D elements in the previous class, we will experiment how these can be incorporated into your Alcohol Ink Art. Foils will be introduced.

Week #3 & #4 – Project Lab: Using the skills and techniques we learned in previous classes, we will create projects. I will have a few samples, but students are encouraged to bring their creativity and an idea of what they want to create.
