FREE Camp for ages 3-14

Boogie Buddies is a free summer dance camp where children learn our state dance: the Carolina Shag! This is a great dance for families to be involved in because there are social and competitive dance opportunities for all ages. Boogie Buddies will have a one hour basic dance lesson every day, along with learning a challenge step each day. The dance steps will then be practiced by the children through fun games and activities. There will also be a focus on music appreciation, where the children will listen and sing-a-long to some Shag favorites. Shag-themed arts and crafts will be included. And, every day will end with playtime at the sprayground: a water play park! There will be a pizza party and social dance on Friday. We hope that these children will become a great group of friends that have a common interest in Shag dancing!
*CHILDREN MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY A PARENT OR GUARDIAN. This is not a drop-off camp.
*Camp hours are 10a to 2p.
*We will meet at the Homestead Pavilion at Keeley Park, 4100 Keeley Rd., McLeansville, NC.
