Break The Cycle 2025

Bristol Bears Community Foundation is thrilled to bring you Break The Cycle 2025 on Sunday, June 29th.
Starting and finishing at Ashton Gate Stadium, the choice of three routes - Gold Route (100km), Silver Route (66km) and Bronze Route (33km) - offers something for cyclists of all abilities, from beginners to experienced riders.
Break the Cycle is Bristol Bears Community Foundation’s biggest annual fundraising event of the year and the chance for local businesses to actively support the life-changing work of the Foundation. Funds raised from this year’s event will support our Education and Skills area of work specifically those young people who are not in employment, education, or training.
We have a target of £20,000 to deliver a year-long programme for 20 young people to gain English and maths qualifications and work experience at local businesses.
Data shows that, in Bristol, NEET rates are higher than the national average with those experiencing detrimental effects on both physical and mental health, and increased likelihood of unemployment, low wages or low-quality work later on in life. Not everyone thrives in traditional education or employment pathways, so we offer an alternative that works for them.
