Music Sandwiched In: Vocalist Janet Rutland

Tulsa City-County Library's biweekly summer music series wraps up with vocalist Janet Rutland, performing a repertoire from the Great American Songbook.

As a versatile artist with decades of performance experience, Rutland offers a diverse repertoire consisting of vintage jazz, pop and country music. A native of Sand Springs, Rutland has performed extensively throughout the Tulsa area for many years and is a longtime fixture in the mid-America music and theater scene with club, theater and concert hall performances in Oklahoma, Texas, Kansas and Missouri.

Music Sandwiched In is a free music series, starting June 9, every other Monday, through July 21 at 12:10 p.m., as part of the 2025 Summer Reading Program. This year's featured performers include Don Ryan, Sam Briggs, Lorelei Barton and Janet Rutland.
