Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Urban Forest
Sarah Norris, Wild Rye Consulting
Sarah Norris is an International Society of Arboriculture Certified Arborist and American Society of Consulting Arborists Registered Consulting Arborist. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University in Botany and Plant Pathology and earned a master's degree from the University of California, Davis in Soil and Biogeochemistry. Sarah is a small business owner, and Wild Rye Consulting is the culmination of her natural curiosity for the plant world and passion for improving the urban forest and educating others on the importance, value, and biology of trees.
Sunday Assembly Sacramento is a non-religious congregation that meets once a month to share our stories, create community, and learn from our experiences. We are inclusive and everyone is valued here.
Sunday Assembly Sacramento is held in the Reason Center at 1300 Ethan Way, Suite 675 toward the back of the building. As always, families are welcome, and childcare is provided. The doors open at 10:30 am and the program will begin at 11:00 am.
We will have a speaker, a short Doing Your Best presentation by a member, and a potluck. Please bring a dish to share unless you are a newcomer. Donuts and coffee are provided. Hope to see you there!
