Special Focus Tour: Dressed For Excess - Clothes Encounters of the Stuart Kind

Members of the Scottish House of Stuart, which ascended to the throne of England at the end of the Tudor Dynasty, are frequently depicted wearing lavish dress. With their expanded kingdom of England, Ireland, and Scotland, these clothes conveyed an important message: the Stuarts had "arrived."
