Diane Edgecomb, award-winning storyteller, theatre artist, and Jamaica Plain resident, will speak about her new book, Source Work for Actors.

Source Work for Actors provides a rare window into the actor training and performance practices of one of the most influential and revolutionary theatres of the twentieth century — Jerzy Grotowski’s Laboratory Theatre.

Diane will discuss her experience working with Laboratory Theatre actor Zbigniew Cynkutis and show why the work of Grotowski and his actors have had such a profound impact on generations of theatre artists.
