Build confidence in your body so that you’re ready to hike Colorado’s trails. Whether you’re a beginner hiker or experienced mountaineer, this course will train high-altitude breathing strategies, hiking technique, and overall power, endurance, and stability. As a bonus, learn essential basic outdoor skills, including trip prep, decision-making, self-care in the backcountry, and Leave No Trace principles. Celebrate your gains and practice your skills with an optional community hike at the end of the series.

What you'll learn:
--CO2 tolerance training to improve athletic performance (especially at high altitudes) and regulate your nervous system
--Power and endurance, with a lower body focus
--Core stability and whole-body movement integration
--Hiking technique
--Essential outdoor skills (trip prep, basic navigation, gear 101, Leave No Trace principles, decision-making framework)

Who this is for: All-levels; anyone who wants to prepare their body and mind for this season’s hiking adventures.

Bring: Water, comfy clothes, be prepared to practice in socks or barefoot
