Fiddleheads presents: Artist in Residence Series with host, Sierra Cassidy.

Free admission, live music in the backyard, with a short set from Sierra Cassidy followed by a rotating guest. Every other Thursday, 5:30-8pm, rain or shine!

August 14th featured artist: Aaron Dye

Emerging from the backroads and waterways of Northern Michigan, Aaron Dye is a singer-songwriter whose music carries the grit of Americana folk-rock and country, shaped by long winters, tall trees, and the quiet spaces in between. His sound nods to the likes of John Prine, Levon Helm, Buck Owens, and Lowell George, not in imitation but in kinship. You hear it in the easy sway of his phrasing, the worn edges of his storytelling, and the way his songs leave space for the listener to find themselves inside.

Dye splits his time between projects that reflect the broad stretch of his musical wheelhouse: fronting StoneFolk, a swampy trio with tuba bass and a heartbeat of groove; playing pedal steel in Little Dipper, a '90s country revival band with a soft spot for heartbreak; lead guitar for the horn-driven yacht rock ensemble led by Tim Jones; and stepping into the stage persona of Frank Hicks where he joins Billy Braxton, aka Joe Short, for the off-beat beer inspired antics of Braxton Hicks and the Contractions.
