Sunrise Hike with a Ranger

Chat with a ranger and walk ½ mile in (1 mile total) to Buzzard’s Roost. Watch the sun rise (6:32 am) and learn more about the park. Dress for the weather and bring plenty of water and snacks. Wear comfortable shoes. Cancelled if inclement weather. Meet at the Stone amphitheater at 5:45 AM next to Park Office. Pre-registration required by calling the office at 706-663-4858. Admission: Free. $5 Parking.
