Tataki zomé is a print made by hammering leaves and flowers into fabric or paper. It is traditionally used for textile and interior design in Japan and has become a popular technique across the globe. This two-part workshop takes place at Flying Pig Farm in Manitou Springs on Wednesday and at Bear Creek Nature Center on Saturday. Participants will learn how to recognize and harvest specimens for tataki zomé projects, pull and press paper, and develop images or repeat patterns to create a completed project.
