Exploring headstand

In this workshop we will work towards and around Sirsasana or Headstand as it is commonly known.
Why do we seek to be upside down? What does it bring out in us? And how does inverting in this way enhance our practice and change our perspective?

We will flow through sequences that will prepare us physically and mentally for our peak posture and explore what sometimes blocks our path towards inversions. There will be plenty of options for different variations and we will play with different ways in and out of Sirsasana.

Towards the end we will counter with some grounding postures and finish with a nourishing meditation and Savasana

This workshop will be open to all levels and there will be plenty of opportunity to ask questions and experiment individually.
