Upon reviewing the recording, he discovers that their exchange is far more cryptic than he initially perceived. THE CONVERSATION stands as one of Coppola's finest works ever put to screen, with its masterful use of editing and sound design ratcheting up the suspense. Enough canโt be said for Hackman who delivers a truly remarkable and critically acclaimed performance. Presented in a new restoration.
