Trailerboat camping trip with some adventure to get you out there 🎣🍻
Boating ,fishing, camping with my wife and I to Wathumba Ck on Fraser Island’s western side in Platypus Bay.
Camp ashore or sleep onboard your boat.
This is a tidal location so high tide only access.
This is a 50km run up the island from Urangun Harbour so you need a minimum fuel range of 150km. Have a hard wired VHF radio along with all your normal safety gear.
You must be comfortable double anchoring.
If conditions allow, our boat will certainly stay up at Rooney’s one of the nights.
This is a beautiful time of year in the bay but *Location may change due to weather conditions that will be discussed with the people attending.
A private group will be created for planning once all locked in👍
