JACK SUMMERS LIVE at the Gehlen Barn

We were lucky to have Jack at the barn last year on a Thursday night. This time around it will be prime time, on a Saturday afternoon, in the pavilion!
Jack Summers is an award-winning Kansas City-based songwriter who grew up hearing his father read Bob Dylan lyrics like bedtime stories. As he grew up, he started writing lyrics of his own that tell stories of everything from the death of a West Virginia coal town to the death of the American mall.
Jack has won the Walnut Valley Songs for a Better World Songwriting Contest as well as the Kerrville New Folk songwriting competition, and is currently touring in support of his upcoming EP, "Stuck Just Passing Through," a project partially funded by the National Endowment for the Arts.

Come enjoy the evening and sip on some great beers from Beer in the Barn Brewery.
