Independence Day Party at Salt Springs Park
June 28, 2025, 10-4
A beautiful and unique display of quilts in the dairy barn including wall hangings, bed quilts, quilt club challenges and projects. Visitors will have the opportunity to add their signatures to the Friends of Salt Springs Park Quilt and vote for their show favorites.
Raffle tickets will be sold for Greens in the Glen queen size quilt to benefit the park. The batik fabric quilt was sewn and donated by club members Donna Kletsko and Sandra Rinker. Donation: $3 per ticket, 2 for $5 or 5 for $10 only available on June 7, June 28 or from a club member. The winner need not be present to win.
The show is sponsored by Magic Needles Quilt Club. They meet at the Montrose Library 9-4 on the second Wednesday of the month. All skill levels are invited to attend.
The Greens in the Glen quilt will also be on display during Explore Salt Springs on June 7th. Raffle tickets will be available. Magic Needles Quilt Club members will be demonstrating quilting techniques as they prepare for the show.
