Disco Alfresco, formerly known as SoundCream Sunset Sessions, transforms Civic Park into an open-air dance floor every Thursday evening in June and July. With world-class DJs, family-friendly vibes, and sunsets that melt into disco lights, this free event turns Hemisfair into San Antonio’s summer dance destination. Powered by the SoundCream Airstream and energized by DJs from Texas, Los Angeles, and New York. No shoes required.
July 24 DJs:
NATVILLAIN
Bio coming soon!
OLAMIDE
Jordan – Austin-based DJ, Creator & Vibe Builder
Morning soundtracks of Bob Marley, Fela Kuti, and tribal Nigerian drums, spun by his single-dad “Mr. Mom,” shaped Jordan’s earliest memories—and his purpose. After landing in Austin in 2015, he dove head-first into the city’s underground, catching the DJ bug at the famed Nu Wave parties on East 6th.
When the pandemic hit, Jordan swapped a high-stress case-manager job for a door gig at Coconut Club, immersing himself in one of Austin’s most eclectic music labs. The move unlocked modeling work and, more importantly, his own place behind the decks.
Today his sets are sonic canvases of Afro-diasporic bass lines, reggae warmth and genre-blurring surprises—spaces where stress melts, bodies move and community heals, one beat at a time.
