RLSBC Concert: This Love Between Us - East meets West with Bach and Reena Esmail

This season, the RLSBC has taken our audiences on a tour of Europe, via music from France, Great Britain, Italy and Germany.

For this concert, we venture much further afield, to the Indian subcontinent, and offer you music which bridges the
divide: Western baroque music meets the Indian classical tradition.

We encounter JS Bach at his best, and Reena Esmail’s vision of unity, This Love Between Us: Prayers for Unity, a contemporary piece in which the composer sets words from seven major religions in a plea for peace and understanding.
