Windham Concert Band

Founded in 1997 as part of the Windham Arts and Recreation Department, the Windham Concert Band is a non-profit that welcomes local musicians of all ages. They are known for their vast repertoire, which includes military marches, classical, jazz, swing, pop and rock, soundtracks, and lyrical pieces. Concert bands, unlike orchestras, do not have string instruments; they are wind ensembles of woodwinds, brass, and percussion. The Windham Concert Band currently has about sixty musicians and performs year-round at various venues, including many concerts in the park in New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and Maine.
