Garden Field Trip

Come spend time in the Garden! Jenny invites you to tour and learn as you pass through the paths of her extensive vegetable garden and high tunnel - 10 foot tomato plants suspended from the rafters, pumpkins and squash sprawling in the walkways, beans, strawberries, peppers, carrots, cabbage and broccoli - OH MY! Learn about the construction of raised beds, deer proof fencing, soil building and amendments, planting, harvesting and winterizing your perennials. Bonus: learn about orchard layout and keeping fruit trees alive at this altitude. Time to sit and enjoy and ask those "burning" questions! Refreshments will be served and be prepared to take home some produce!
