Battle of Carthage, MO Vespers Service

This is an event to honor the men who served in the Federal and Missouri State Guard ranks in the first major land battle of the Civil War, July 5, 1861. It will begin at 1 pm with reenactors throughout the afternoon and the Kendrick House will be open to look at. At 7 pm we will hold a Vespers service for the men that fought here. It is all free so come out and have a good time and learn some history.
