Run (or walk) a flat and fast 5K in Trinity Park. Awards for 5K are overall male & female and age groups.
and then
Test your strength and endurance in the 1-Mile WATERMELON RELAY. Two-person teams carry a watermelon for 1/2 mile each. The relay is a separate race that starts after the 5K is completed. Relay teammates run, walk or drive to the exchange point. Entry to the relay race will be done on-site on race day (no pre-registration) and it is free if at least one member of the team registers for and participates in the 5K. And if you don't have a relay partner now, you can find one on race-day.
Rules:
- Must carry watermelon. No bike or cart. You can use t-shirt.
- Must not drop. Watermelon must be complete at the finish line.
- Awards-First Place Finishers in Male team, Female team, and Mixed (Male/Female)-Team
Refreshments to follow the races.
