Let’s get those paintbrushes out!
In this special workshop, with resident Fine Artist, Susan Yeates, you will learn techniques for using watercolour paint to create beautiful, bold botanical and fruit designs.
We will explore how to use watercolours effectively by adding different amounts of water, explore methods to use the paint (e.g. wet on wet & wet on dry) as well as exploring different brush techniques for creating fruit and leaves on the page.
You will come away from the workshop with confidence in your brushstrokes and pages of beautiful loose fruit paintings. These are also handy skills to transfer onto your pottery painting!
Materials included. No experience necessary. Suitable to beginners to watercolour.
Date and Time: Weds 2nd July, 6-8pm
Cost: £40 per person including materials.
Location: Fired Frog Woking, 3 Hermitage Road, St Johns, Woking, GU21 8TE
Booking Info: Advance booking essential as there is a maximum of 12 spaces available. All materials provided. If you have your own watercolours or brushes you are welcome to bring these too.
