Artist and documentary filmmaker Preeya Nair, EAL Coordinator at Grey Court, has collaborated with students to create a multimedia promenade show for the Richmond Arts and Ideas Festival, based on local history with a special focus on nature.
The show explores the history of plant and animal migration into Ham, highlights the value of diverse cultural perspectives, delves into the history of the school, and shares stories of recent migration, including those of Ukrainians and Hongkongers.
The show also features a soundscape recorded in collaboration with sixth form students who volunteer on Ham Lands, with a musical element woven throughout.
This is a free event, but advance ticket booking is required.
