We’ll begin by taking a walk around Cherry Grove Farm as we identify and taste some fresh edible weeds. These may include dandelion, mugwort, lamb's quarters, and more. Herbalist Tish will talk about how these plants can be used both as food and as medicine. Tish will show how you can easily preserve these wild delectables in vinegar (or alcohol), and how to make tasty, healthy infusions. We will finish by enjoying a feast of dishes made with the wild plants, complemented with some of Cherry Grove’s cheeses, and maybe even some herbal cordials.
