This nostalgic one-act play transports audiences to the vibrant comedy scene of 1950s–1960s St. Louis Stella Fella and Danny Dame, a comedy duo reminiscent of the era’s greats, are faced with a choice: pursue Hollywood fame or remain loyal to their roots in Gaslight Square. As they grapple with this decision, their journey explores themes of friendship, ambition, and the true meaning of success. Will they chase the spotlight of Tinseltown or find fulfillment closer to home? The show features reprisals of classic bits by Nichols & May and Stiller & Meara and is accompanied by the Gaslight Squares performing live.
