Ross is a Western Australian textile artist who discovered his passion for quilting, embroidery and other textile art at the age of 50. Ross made clothes for his late wife and over the years has also made bags, cushions, quilts and hats.
His inspiration comes from nature and he spends time walking in the nearby parks and he enjoys experimenting with different techniques and styles and does both hand and machine stitching.
Ross will be talking about his travels and experiments over the past 20 years in a range of textile projects and will display many examples of his beautiful work.
