What is SMFest Awka?

THEME FOR 2025: "Disrupt & Evolve"
This year’s theme, Disrupt & Evolve, builds on the momentum of our previous theme (Digital Awakening). It reflects a call for young Africans and digital professionals to challenge outdated norms, reimagine business and technology, and evolve into leaders who shape the future.
It also aligns perfectly with the ongoing digital revolution in Anambra State, powered by the Solution Innovation District and supported by the government’s massive push for youth skill development and tech innovation.

Empower 2,000+ Youths with practical, in-demand digital skills
Facilitate networking and collaboration among ecosystem leaders, startups, and investors

Date: June 22nd–29th, 2025
Target: 2,000 young people across Anambra and South East
Learn Digital Marketing, Content Creation, Social Media Strategy, Video Editing, Monetization, AI Leverage and Freelancing.
Fully virtual with certificates and exciting reward packages.

Date: Friday, July 4th, 2025
Venue: Radisson Onyx Hotel, Awka
