9th Hobo Day Tractors, Machines and Veterans Appreciation

The West Nassau Historical Society is seeking tractors and antique farm machines to display at their 9th Hobos and Heroes Festival, Tractor Show and Veterans Appreciation scheduled for Saturday, October 4th. The 9th edition of their autumn fundraising event runs from 9a to 3p on the historic Callahan Train Depot, adjacent Florida Railroad rail bed and Depot Pavilion. The judged tractor and farm machine show will run from 9a-2p. There will also be live entertainment, food and arts/crafts vendors, exhibits and displays centered around the 144-year-old wooden train station. Arts/Craft and Food vendors will be set up on the rail bed from 9a-3p. The Historical Society will celebrate their 50th anniversary, plus honor our veterans during a mid-morning ceremony. The Kids area will be hosted by Joel Pace Piano and Music. Depot and Caboose tours, silent auction, student art exhibit and other family-friendly activities will also be held. Sponsorships are available. The West Nassau Historical Society is an all-volunteer nonprofit and Hobo Day is our autumn fundraiser.
