MDR @ Lakeside Fest at the Dole

The 2025 Lakeside Festival in Crystal Lake is a four-day celebration held July 3–6 on the scenic grounds of the historic Dole Mansion and Lakeside Arts Park. Recognized as one of McHenry County’s premier summer events, the festival features 15 live bands across two outdoor stages, thrilling carnival rides, a wide array of food vendors, craft beer and wine selections, and family-friendly activities like face painting, a decorated bike parade, and an ice cream eating contest. A highlight of the weekend is the fireworks display over Crystal Lake, coordinated with the city's Independence Day parade and the legendary Modern Day Romeos. Proceeds support the Lakeside Legacy Foundation’s arts, education, and community programs.
