Sabar Drumming With Modou Diouf - Thornham Magna

Master Sabar player and teacher Modou Diouf returns to UK to run a Summer series of exciting Sabar Drumming Workshops.
Sabar drums originate in Senegal and are played using a stick in one hand and the palm of the other. The rhythms are exciting and Modou is an experienced and patient teacher.

Three one-day workshops:

10.30-4.30pm

All levels are welcome but if you are a beginner it's important for you attend on Saturday to learn the basics. (If you are a complete beginner and can only attend for one day please come on the Saturday).

For improvers and advanced players, the first day will be an opportunity to practice some of the accompanying parts.

Drums provided if you don't have one - let us know if you need one.

Tea and coffee provided but please bring lunch to share.
Cost: £40 a day (under 18s £25) - £10 discount if you attend all three days!
