**Pre-registration is required for this event.**

What’s the difference between a frog and a toad? Why do snakes shed their skin? Join park staff for a hands-on, family-friendly program exploring the fascinating world of reptiles and amphibians! Learn how these creatures survive and thrive in our park’s habitats—and how you can help protect them. This program will feature interactive activities along a hike to search for herps in the wild.

This program is recommended for all ages. Please meet at the Bluebird Barn at 12:00 PM. Be prepared to walk approximately 2.5 miles over both paved and unpaved surfaces. For more details about the route, please read the Essential Eligibility Criteria. The program will last about 2 hours and include time to search for live reptiles and amphibians and explore their habitats.

The cost of the program is $8.00 per participant. Children under 5 are free with a paying adult.

Please come prepared with sturdy shoes, water, and curiosity! Pets are not allowed on programs, except service animals.
