Turmeric Sun Printing

Make art using the power of the sun! In this creative session, we’ll be using turmeric—a bright yellow spice—as a natural dye to create sun prints. You’ll paint paper with a turmeric mixture, place objects or stencils on top, and let sunlight do the rest. As the sun hits the exposed areas, it changes the color, leaving behind a cool, high-contrast image.
