Explore the pristine lakes, lush meadows, granite boulders and slabs, and lodgepole pine forested slopes of the Tahoe National Forest, the Paradise Lake trip is for you. Our trip starts at the Castle Peak area in the Tahoe National Forest. We're going to be camping at beautiful Paradise Lake on Friday and Saturday nights, and hiking to the top of Mt Lola as a day trip from the lake on Saturday. The total distance we cover is 27 miles. It's an OAC backpacking trip, so we take care of all the permits, group gear and we even provide all the food for the trip.
