Explore the ancient paths and sites of Luccombe!
We start with a visit to Luccombe church where the church warden will tell us a little about its history. We will then walk to ruined St. Andrew’s Chapel before climbing Horner Hill to Webber’s Post where there will be time for a snack lunch.
The return will be down a beautiful old green lane, with a small detour to look at the restoration work being carried out on a dry stone wall in Wychanger Combe.
At the end of the walk there is an annual scarecrow service at Luccombe Church which starts at 3pm, which you are most welcome to join.
